The Alpha Lambda Chapter

Founded at Illinois Wesleyan University on June 7th, 1924.

We strive to be a diverse brotherhood of musical students with the common goal of fulfilling the object of our fraternity. Currently composed of over 30 current collegiate brothers, many being music and non-music majors. The Alpha Lambda Chapter has a rich history at Illinois Wesleyan University. Sponsoring many campus-wide events and concerts like the annual Concerto-Aria Concert since 1979. Now known as the Henry Charles Memorial Concerto Aria Concert at the passing of our late brother and IWU faculty member Henry Charles. The chapter also shares their love and support of music with the community by performing in various settings, such as nursing homes and sporting events. Annually giving back and donating to local organizations like Beyond the Books, which works to fund innovative programs for local students in the Bloomington, Normal area.
