Alpha Lambda Centennial Celebration Information
Beginning June 7, 2024 and going through the ’24-25 academic year, the Alpha Lambda chapter will
be celebrating 100 years of Brotherhood at Illinois Wesleyan!
Numerous events are planned, with the goal of not only celebrating our anniversary with Brothers,
but giving back to our Alma Mater and the greater music community.

June 2024
7-9 Brothers-only weekend at the house – come join us for a weekend of social events, music,
and brotherhood! Stay for an hour or all weekend!
July 2024
19-21 Annual Work Weekend – come help get the house ready for the 2024-25 school year!
September/October 2024
IWU Homecoming – come back for the Open House, Titan Band performances, and more!
November/December 2024
Alumni Recitals, Masterclasses, Seminars – Do you want to perform a piece (or two or three) on the
Westbrook stage or in Evelyn Chapel? How about give a masterclass or presentation that would
benefit current IWU music students? We will have a full weekend of giving back our time & talent
to our Alma Mater!
March/April 2025
Centennial Celebration Weekend & Banquet – Come back to IWU, bring your family, and celebrate
our centennial in style! We will debut comissions for concert band, choir, and jazz ensemble. There
will be alumni recitals, masterclasses, and social time. We will cap the weekend with a banquet
open to all, celebrating the Chapter, the greater Sinfonia, and Illinois Wesleyan!
There will be additional events throughout the year – the chapter’s American Music Recital, Mills
Music Missions, performances of the National Anthem, the initiations of new Brothers, and more!
Our goal is to ensure EVERY Brother on Alpha Lambda’s list has the chance to celebrate our
centennial and give back to our Alma Mater.
We look forward to seeing you at one or more events during OUR Centennial year!
